| Last January 18, the Micro Enterprise Development
Program facilitated the repair of the the solar
powered water project in Sitio Paang Bundok, Brgy.
San Celestino,
Lipa
City
. They had a series of assessment and planning
activities with WISE or Women in the Informal Sector
Enterprise, SPPB or Samahan ng Patubig
sa Paang Bundok and some Women's Rural Bank clients
for January and February early this year.
MICRODEV also facilitated the exposure visit of WISE and PATAMABA partners to the Alay Kapwa office
in Leveriza last February 6. |

| MICRODEV also facilitated six Women's
Entrepreneurship Proces in areas of WRB in
Rosario
and
Lipa
City in Batangas
. Part of their methodology is through the use of
storytelling of " Mariang May Hilig" . It
is a story of a woman who is in the micro-enterprise
business and her plight. The story is
written by Malou B. Vera and Jocelyn Alcoreza. Jose Alcoreza illustrated the story. |

| Future plans include
Skills Training and Women's Entrepreneurship
Process from April to June of this year.
There will be Enterprise Oriented Activities such as
soap making training, accessories making, slipper
design, meat processing, restaurant management,
baking, and other activities. Part of the plan
includes participation in the 10th Year anniversary
of the WRB. MICRODEV will package a Pasko Pack
and facilitate raffle draws for the benefit of the
prizes for best women entrepreneurs. |
